Hello. How are you?

It’s crazy to think that those three words can be so emotionally driven in a completely different direction. (Does that make sense? I’m sorry if it doesn’t)

I am writing this with a heavy heart but not in a sad way just in a gravitated way. You see these past couple of days and months even have been, I must say, eye opening. And I don’t think that other years haven’t also, but it’s just that with all of the freedom of social media it has laid a heavyweight on our shoulders, a burden to hard to comprehend. The kind that is only wished to be see in a movie. Only it is not a movie. It, This is real life.

Hey hey hey! Before I get into this week’s post I do want to tell you guys that I have finally uploaded a new podcast!! And I must say sorry for not uploading frequently :/ I am rather bad at doing so but! Do not fear I have up loaded a new one yesterday and so if you haven’t has the time to listen to it, I suggest that you do so, my brother and I talked about friendship and answered a few question like: How do I know people truly see and love me? and What do I look for in a friend? You know when you trying to write a blog post and well… it’s just not working? No? Maybe yes? Well that is me right now. SO because the other post I really want to publish is not working right now, I’m choosing to come on here and have this little book ramble with you guys… or more of a I ramble you read (if ya went to) kinda thing. XD

Growing up I was never what I would classify under a “reader” and even now a days, if you give me the chance between a movie or a book… I’ll most likely choose a movie. (sorry not sorry?) That however, does not mean I do not read or enjoy reading books, so with that said I though I would let you guys know what I am currently reading!!

She was a comforter

to all her doubters

And yet she was a woman 

With a sadness none could comprehend..

lost in her thoughts

destroyed by her void

A broken brier

A day or two ago, I was doing my devotion and there is this thing you can do where you sit in silence for about 5 minutes or more if you want to and you just focus on what God is trying to say to you. This as you can imagine can be somewhat of a harder thing to do in the day time, when everyone is awake in your household, lucky for me it was nearing midnight and the house was *quiet* (don’t we love some quiet time!)

Anyhow, lately I have been really busy with school and to-do lists and all of THAT (you know the elephant in the room *cough* life *cough* ) So I did my quiet time and a couple of things came to my head about this and that, but one specific thing that happened a couple days ago came to my mind, and I thought to myself, “why would You (God) allow me to get *super* stressed about this tiny (not “ti-ny” but “tee-ny”) little thing that I never even got to be able to share ?? It just did not make sense. Anyways, I want on with my quiet time and then went to bed.

Updates/Exciting News!!!!!

Wow, hey guys! I feel like so many things have happened in the past couple days and i’ve just let you guys in the dark… unless you follow me on instagram 😉 then you might have an idea of what is happening.

First things first, I have created an IG account specifically for the Cozy Potato and so now you can go follow me (right here) anytime! I try my best to post at least one or two stories a day and upload any new important news that are coming your way!!

Second thing, I am soooo excited to announce that I now have a PODCAST!!! This still sounds crazy when I say it! You can find it on Youtube, my theme for this podcast is “rambling nonsense, and a little bit of madness” which is true… to some extant!! I am also hoping to be able to inspire everyone who listens to it. By this time my first recording (intro) is up live to the public on YouTube!! and if you want to listen to it you can find the link to it right here. It is a short and sweet little intro to who I am and what I want this podcast to be about, I hope you guys enjoy it!!

Third thing I am eager to get to is that I am hoping I will be able to start a new category for book/movie reviews on my website!! So stay toon for that, I will still be uploading one post every Wednesday, but with the amount of post I want to write and post… it is getting hard to keep it to only once a week. (I guess thats a good thing right?) 😁
