//Another Poem//

We wonder in the broad day light,

We seek the unknown.

We love a truth that conforms us,

And seek the purpose of our souls.

We miss the point that out hearts and souls long for.

And we fear the very thing we love.

We cling to a joy that will indeed with time deteriorate our entirety.

We long for perfection and we reach for success,

but we find ourselves shattered in thousand pieces of a perfect master piece

and we fall to despair because we cannot reach our dreams.

But how then do we live?

Is there anything or anyone who can save us from our own shamed and doomed selves?

Shall we run to the joy we so desire and yet can never reach? Or shall we stay in this torturous repeat.

Who shall we be saved by?

Or better yet shall we even be saved?

Is our faith not in our own hands?

Or has the world lied to us once again.

We no longer see right from wrong but only a blur of gray.

We long for a truth that is solid and built on a strong foundation.

But can we even find such truth?

Why of course!

Although we are lost at sea, the shore is never far off.

We must keep our eyes wide and open for the truth of all truths to arrive.

Because it is not us to it, but it to us -because only then can we be certain that what is there is the Truth.

// A glimpse in an untold story //

The wind blowed strait into my face and onto my body. I could feel the cold seap through my tin laced nightgown and my hair crossing over my face in no particular way. It was night time, the stars were blooming through the dark abyss of the universe. I could feel the sand in between my toes and the sound of the calm, soothing waves crashing along the beach. Somewhere here and there, close by but yet far away.

When I looked back down my eyes reached the line where the ocean so pleasantly connects with the sky. The moon shimmering upon the water. Revealing nothing but curiosity for those who have a mind to venture far out into that mystery.

It was a peaceful and quiet night, one would have thought they were the last person on earth. But the truth is I’m never alone. Across to the side was a small crab making its way to somewhere. Never really know if there was a right or wrong path.

How simple, I thought, it is to forget to take a moment to focus on the present, which many fail to do. How sad, to think that many miss what is right in front of them.

Forgetting to enjoy the small moments. And dismissing the importance to pause and breath. The long, deep breaths. The ones that could change the world, if God only dared to allow it. To be present in the now. Not worrying about the yesterdays or tomorrows.

I could taste the salt in the air and smell the indescribable beauty of this place I call home.

Reaching the water, I felt its cold mysterious power reach my toes, sending a vibrant shock throughout my fragile human frame. Without contemplating, I let my body plunge into the darkness of the ocean. Silencing my overwhelming thoughts, troubles, and worries and letting them be hushed away -by the crushing waves- and along with the passing seconds.

I hope you enjoyed this little glimpse in a story I had stuck in my mind. If you liked this kind of post let me know down below or by leaving a like, so I write more like these in the future!!

As always thanks for reading! ❤

A Midnight Stroll

Hello. How are you?

It’s crazy to think that those three words can be so emotionally driven in a completely different direction. (Does that make sense? I’m sorry if it doesn’t)

I am writing this with a heavy heart but not in a sad way just in a gravitated way. You see these past couple of days and months even have been, I must say, eye opening. And I don’t think that other years haven’t also, but it’s just that with all of the freedom of social media it has laid a heavyweight on our shoulders, a burden to hard to comprehend. The kind that is only wished to be see in a movie. Only it is not a movie. It, This is real life.

A Broken Brier

She was a masterpiece,

with a delicate breach

She was a spirit,

without a limit

She was a lullaby

with a  beautiful cry

She was a treasure

for all that would venture

She was a comforter

to all her doubters

And yet she was a woman

With a sadness none could comprehend..

lost in her thoughts

destroyed by her void

A broken brier

 without her admirer

A broken masterpiece

healed only by her serene release.

Broken but Saved

I had lost the simplicity of life.

The busy days and the short years. The stressful hours and never ending due dates. The throbbing painful ache in my heart was never to stop and the peace I was so desperately longing for was far from my reach.

One day I broke. I shattered. I let go. I dare and did the one thing everyone dared not to do, I fell.

Holy Week

He came to save us,

He taught us to love,

He taught us to care,

He taught us to forgive,

He taught us to pray,

He taught us to live,

He taught us to free,

He taught us to trust,

He taught us to give,

He taught us to be patient,

He taught us to be kind,

He taught us freedom,

He showed us our faults,

He showed us our desires,

He showed us our needs,

He showed us his grace,

He showed us our redemption,

He showed us our future,

He showed us His love,

He showed us His goodness,

He showed us His grace,

He showed us His patience,

He showed us His kindness,

He showed us His desires,

He showed us His death.

And freed us from ours.

And we still fall,

And we still fail,

And we still do not believe,

And we still hurt,

And we still hate,

And we still lie,

And we still lose hope,

And we still lose faith,

And we still…

But you see it isn’t what we do, but it is what He Has Done For Us. Period. Nothing more nothing less. This week is a reminder of Him. His Goodness. HIS LOVE.

Even if we fail He is still by our side.

Even if we lose hope, He is still hopeful.

Even if we lose faith, He still has faith.

Even if we lose control, He still has control.

We call his week “Holy Week” because this week is THE most important week that has ever come to past. This week two thousand years ago, was the week we were freed from Satan, Hell, and Death. By Jesus, and by Jesus alone.

And when people ask you what is the Good news? What is the Gospel? Why is it so Important? Tell them this,

Jesus came to earth,

He died on the cross for us and our sins,

He laid in a tomb for three days,

And then HE AROSED!!! That is the good news: He arose, He concurred death. And by doing so He has freed us from eternal death and is patiently waiting for the day that you come to Him and ask Him to forgive your sins, and ask Him to be His child. And He will be more then happy to say yes! All He wants is for you to come to Him and accept His gift.

The last thing about the gospel is that one day He will come back to earth and take us to our forever home with Him. Forever.

That is the Gospel,

The Good News,

The Truth.

Let us remember this by celebrating 2020’s Holy Week. And as always thanks for reading!

The Long Fellow

A long fellow once ask me, “why must our dreams be so hard to reach? Why must we go through blood, sweat, and tears to hear meaningless cheers every few years?”

With sadness in his soul the long fellow stood quiet and still

But I being wise in age must have answered something of so – “dear sir the answer to those questions are simple yet hard to swallow.

The truth is it is not with a lot that much is accomplished, but it is the little things that much is accomplished. However, those little things may seem like mountains, because the smaller it is, the harder it is to live up to it. The good out of that however, is that if you do achieve your dreams, your victory shall be all the sweeter.

Hence the reason to your blood, sweat, and tears.” –

The Seasons

The Seasons there are, with Winter I shall start.

❄️ Its beauty frozen in the un-shattered cold. We fear to love it for its powerful hold can freeze us, its graceful white flakes fall upon us as a fascinating story that dares to open our imagination. Children loves and adults hates, but its charming chill none could scorn. It guides us in our midnight strides with its soft but yet blinding lights.❄️

And in morning yet arise like non other but peaceful spring.

🌱 As fast as winter came it dared not stay, for fear that spring might scorn its ways. But yet at last spring appears bright and clear. The joy it brings into people’s hearts, the future is bright and warm. The growth of trees and seedling bleeds throw the left-over snow. Children spies and find a promise of heat and sun. Joy and peace, spring sure does bring, to adults and children, oh how they do rejoice. Flowers bloom and animals loom, in their heart yet no one knows, they too rejoice. 🌱

And yet even if spring is short it brings a promise of summer.
