– Blogmas Day 19: Little did we know. A Christ-mass poem! –

Little did we know that 2000 years ago a baby would be born. He would grow up to be an amazing preacher, leader, carer, friend and Saviour.

Little did we know that He would free us from our sins and give us a path that would lead us to eternal life!

Little did we know that He was all that we needed. He was what fulfilled us. He leads us away from our anxiety, our pain, our stress, our worries, our hurt.

– Blogmas Day 7: A Christmas Poem –

The snow fell slowly like little diamonds softly floating down the thick cold air of December. It’s brilliant white reflects into millions of colours, oh how beautiful it is.

Delicately it lands onto the evergreen branches and kisses it softly. Everything silenced by the coldness of this season. The birds and creators nestled into their warm little homes for the night.

The vivid yet frozen moon peering through the dark clouds. The brightness of the snow illuminating the dead of night.

Walking along the snow-coated sidewalk all I could hear was the crunch of my boats and the sound of the snow ever so softly falling. The day frozen in time. Everything dead but yet alive. I guess one would call it the magic of winter.

Oh how calm and loving everything is, a peace only a few might find. But in the dead of night we find ourselves in this magical winter wonderland.

If only everyone would be able to experience such a sensational night, but if it be so I guess it would lose it’s magic. And magical it would be no more.

At last I find much hardship in telling such a fascinating moment because one must live through it to truly know it.

Slowly I make my way back to the place I call home. I will soon leave this magical place and enter into a home filled with life and laughter.

Love and joy, with carols and songs being sang. And the joy of Christmas shall it be. With the smell of Christmas food -gingerbread man freshly baked and a stew brewing on the stove top.

My family laughing, gathered around the warmth of the fireplace and the smell of firewood crackling under the heat of the fire. Along with the smell of pine tree alive through this home of mine.

At last, I must leave the quietness of the cold and magical heaven of this winter wonderland and enter into another beauty of this season!

Hope you enjoyed reading this little poem I wrote. I really tried to give you, the readers, something that I would think is the most beautiful Christmas of it all. With the coldness of snow and quietness outside and the cheers and love inside a home.

That is all for this blogmas post! I hope you enjoyed reading this!!

As always thanks for read! ❤

// A little poem & an explanation 🙂 //

They tell me one day I’ll grow old, live a happy life, find someone who truly loves me.

They tell me that I will be filled with a love that is good, but they don’t know, as I stare outside of this damped, grey, rainy, window that my heart belongs to her.

They don’t know that my soul left when she did. That she stoled my breath.

They don’t know that she came by candlelight and blew out the only flame I had left.

A Broken Brier

She was a masterpiece,

with a delicate breach

She was a spirit,

without a limit

She was a lullaby

with a  beautiful cry

She was a treasure

for all that would venture

She was a comforter

to all her doubters

And yet she was a woman

With a sadness none could comprehend..

lost in her thoughts

destroyed by her void

A broken brier

 without her admirer

A broken masterpiece

healed only by her serene release.

Holy Week

He came to save us,

He taught us to love,

He taught us to care,

He taught us to forgive,

He taught us to pray,

He taught us to live,

He taught us to free,

He taught us to trust,

He taught us to give,

He taught us to be patient,

He taught us to be kind,

He taught us freedom,

He showed us our faults,

He showed us our desires,

He showed us our needs,

He showed us his grace,

He showed us our redemption,

He showed us our future,

He showed us His love,

He showed us His goodness,

He showed us His grace,

He showed us His patience,

He showed us His kindness,

He showed us His desires,

He showed us His death.

And freed us from ours.

And we still fall,

And we still fail,

And we still do not believe,

And we still hurt,

And we still hate,

And we still lie,

And we still lose hope,

And we still lose faith,

And we still…

But you see it isn’t what we do, but it is what He Has Done For Us. Period. Nothing more nothing less. This week is a reminder of Him. His Goodness. HIS LOVE.

Even if we fail He is still by our side.

Even if we lose hope, He is still hopeful.

Even if we lose faith, He still has faith.

Even if we lose control, He still has control.

We call his week “Holy Week” because this week is THE most important week that has ever come to past. This week two thousand years ago, was the week we were freed from Satan, Hell, and Death. By Jesus, and by Jesus alone.

And when people ask you what is the Good news? What is the Gospel? Why is it so Important? Tell them this,

Jesus came to earth,

He died on the cross for us and our sins,

He laid in a tomb for three days,

And then HE AROSED!!! That is the good news: He arose, He concurred death. And by doing so He has freed us from eternal death and is patiently waiting for the day that you come to Him and ask Him to forgive your sins, and ask Him to be His child. And He will be more then happy to say yes! All He wants is for you to come to Him and accept His gift.

The last thing about the gospel is that one day He will come back to earth and take us to our forever home with Him. Forever.

That is the Gospel,

The Good News,

The Truth.

Let us remember this by celebrating 2020’s Holy Week. And as always thanks for reading!

The Long Fellow

A long fellow once ask me, “why must our dreams be so hard to reach? Why must we go through blood, sweat, and tears to hear meaningless cheers every few years?”

With sadness in his soul the long fellow stood quiet and still

But I being wise in age must have answered something of so – “dear sir the answer to those questions are simple yet hard to swallow.

The truth is it is not with a lot that much is accomplished, but it is the little things that much is accomplished. However, those little things may seem like mountains, because the smaller it is, the harder it is to live up to it. The good out of that however, is that if you do achieve your dreams, your victory shall be all the sweeter.

Hence the reason to your blood, sweat, and tears.” –

Soundness of Sleep

In the middle of the night, I find a thought of beauty and pain conformed together. So tightly intertwine that it can never be ripped apart. Its beauty is a reminder that nothing is lost even with the pain that hangs in the air.

This masterpiece forms a single picture of grace and conflict. Sadly, the only thing that is found in this beautiful picture of a thought is quickly destroyed. And when I awake it was like all other lifeless dreams I once had but before the night was over forgotten, along with the soundness of sleep.

A Thought

Friendship. I am not sure what exactly holds me back in having a deeper relationship with friends. I guess I always thought you had to have known them for a long time to really known and consider them as true friends.
