Hello lovelies! I did a post similar to this a while back and a lot of you guys liked it so I’m here for a part 2! The title is pretty much self-explanatory so with that said let’s get right into it, shall we?
“Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.”
1 John 4:8 ESV
I LOVE this verse so much, it is such a good reminder and I always have it at the back of my mind. If you spend time with God in prayers or in scriptures or worship you will understand the true definition of Love.
“For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
2 Timothy 1:7 ESV
This verse is such a great reminder, especially when I start to fear or get impatient or even when I lose faith in myself. Believe that God gave you a spirit not of fear or of being scared or of not being able to do something, but instead a spirit of strength, and love, and peace and self-control. With God anything is possible!!
“This God is my refuge and has made my way blameless.” 2 Samuel 22:33 ESV. I don’t know why but I have always seen this verse as a promise from God. In a way it’s like Him telling me that I have nothing to worry about because every choices I make in my life will all workout in a blameless way, all for His glory.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV. I think something important to notice here is the difference between rejoicing and being happy. You can be enduring a rough time in your life and still rejoice. You can rejoice by praying to God, by sitting down an reading his word and by taking time to really indulge in Him. Only them will you will find true joy!! His Joy! So yeah I love this verse very much! XD
“Those who sow in tears, shall reap with shouts of joy!” Psalm 126:5 ESV This promise is so uplifting and it sort of goes with this “rejoice and find joy in God” theme. But I also love this verse because it’s another really beautiful promise from God. It is basically saying that whatever hardship you are going through, you can find joy because God is using it to bring you so much happiness.

2 Timothy 1:7 is one of my favorites, the other day I was super stressed and I was reading through all these bible verses about how we shouldn’t worry, Gods got this and I read like 3-4 of different verses stating almost the same thing, Gods got this and finally it clicked. GOD HAS GOT THIS. I didn’t need to worried about school, stressed about time and everything because God has control ❤️ It was really an important discovery for myself! Anyways, I loved this post! And I’m a new follower and I adore your blog and your posts, they’re so fun 🤩
