Food. The one thing that brings people together! Hi, welcome back!!

So I saw another blogger do this and absolutely 100% wanted to do it!! Today’s post is all about my favourite DESSERTS!!!! And yes, I know that people have a wide view of which desert taste/ look/ are the best, but these are just my top favourites (with that said you can try to convince me otherwise…. but in the end my pallet will have the final saying, for me at least!😂🤪) (note: please know that these pictures are not mine, they are from Pinterest, except the chocolate dipped strawberries.)

First up chocolate dipped strawberries. 🥰🍓🍫 I know desserts are very specific to people’s liking and that is A-O-KAY, however no matter what you tell me, chocolate dipped strawberries will always hold a special spot in my… (pallet??) If you were to ask me what I love about this dessert.. well I could go off but the two main points would come down to the perfect balance of fruity freshness and chocolate put together. 😅

Next up macarons, not to get confused with macaroons, which is a somewhat two different cookies (macarons = meringues based, macaroons = coconut based.) Honestly these are just deliciousssss, my favourite flavour that I have tasted is the passion fruit macaron. Its bittersweet-fruitiness with the sweetness of the soft-crunchy cookie is *to die for.*

Third on the list is the molasses gingersnap cookie. This one is actually very particular and it has a history. (Story time!!😂) So i was at my local outlet mall with my friend, and she introduced these molasses gingersnap cookies to me. And I am not a fan of molasses, however with that ginger, the sugar, the molasses and all of it together… well I do believe the saying goes “it’s better when it’s all mixed together” (is that even a saying?? ahaha who knows.) Anyhow, moral of the story -it now holds a special place in my dessert heart!😂

Next is profiteroles, if you’ve never had any profiteroles then I suggest you do. These are a delicacy to the tastebuds!! According to google, profiteroles are French choux pastries filled with a semi-sweet filling (cream, custard, or even ice cream.) I also have come to realize that many of these dessert are “French” style dessert… does that say something about me??? -if you know me, you know that I’m from Quebec. I guess my French heritage is coming through with the deserts! And honestly, I’m not mad.-😂😅

Ok, last one apple crumble, or apple pie!! Before anything, yes I know these are two different types of desserts, but I mean they are in the same family, and I also just couldn’t decide which to pick. 😆 Anyhow, I love both of these and to be fair, if you match both with vanilla ice cream they are just to. die. for. (ok maybe not die die, but you know what I mean!!)

Well those are my top five favourite desserts at the moment!! I hope you enjoyed reading this post, I differently had a blast writing it. 😄 All I want to do now though is go eat dessert 😅 haha oops! 🙈 What is your favourite type of dessert?

  6. It all looks so good! Apple Crumble is my FAV- it’s just so delicious, especially with ice-cream!
    I also really need to try profiteroles and macarons, they look amazing! Thanks for sharing💛

    • Yesss they are all so good, apple crumble with ice cream is my go too when I’m at a restaurant or something of the sort!! 🤣😂😂 I’m glad you enjoyed it!❤️ thank you for the comment!

  9. This post made me salivate and now I’m craving sugar!! Honestly I loved all of these we have such similar tastes 😂 Chocolate covered strawberries are my absolute weakness I adore them (especially when the chocolate is Cadbury) and coincidentally I just made macarons a little while ago 😁😂 I really loved this post and I’m definitely keen to read more of your stuff xxx 💕❤️

Loved this post and I LOVE chocolate dipped strawberries and Cookies!!!!!! *ehe, it’s obvious isn’t it?* I’m new to your blog and honestly The Cozy Potato is the THE. NAME. I love itttt!!!!
